Founded by Principal Cerise Bedder, a passionate professional dancer who wanted to create a nurturing and fun environment for students to learn and grow.
The school has now grown to a team of experienced and friendly teachers who are dedicated to helping all students achieve their goals, whether they are beginners or experienced dancers.
Dance Central offers the opportunity for students to take ISTD exams, providing a sense of achievement and progress along with performance opportunities such as the annual School Show, Workshops, and competing with our successful Competition Team.

Founder & Principle
Cerise remains eternally grateful to her parents for recognising her dancing talent at an early age. She attended Dupont Dance Stage School from the age of 2.5 years where she refined her technique and was a regular winner at All England and the Dance World Cup.
Ballet & Modern
Rebecca started dancing at a very young age and she soon realised her dream. At the young age of 16 Rebecca accepted a place at the Northern Ballet School in Manchester where she trained for 3 years, graduating in 2013.
Musical Theatre & Commercial
Olivia has been in the performing sector for the majority of her life, starting out as a dancer when she was just 6 years old. Olivia’s background is in Musical Theatre, and in 2015 she made her West End debut dancing at Her Majesty’s Theatre.
Cover Teacher
Charmaine graduated from Bird College in 2019 with a degree in professional dance and musical theatre. Charmaine is still performing regularly and loves teaching alongside this.
