Creating a secure ballet bun for all classes is essential for our female pupils. It keeps hair out of the face, allowing dancers to perform their best. Don’t worry, though—the perfect ballet bun is simpler than it seems.
Here’s what you’ll need for your perfect ballet bun:
Now let’s dive into the steps:
Tame loose hairs and set with hairspray: Use hairspray, gel, or bobby pins/clips to smooth down any loose hairs away from your face. Apply hairspray to keep everything in place and achieve a neat finish.
Tip: If you have bangs or fringe, you can incorporate them into your ballet bun or use gel/spray to slick them back. Secure any loose fringe with bobby pins or hair clips. Additionally, if you want to add some flair, feel free to decorate your ballet bun with a scrunchie. Just make sure it is securely fastened and not distracting during your dance routine.
There you have it—your beautifully tied ballet bun! Now you’re ready to shine and dance with confidence. Happy bun-tying!
