Not only was Sunday full of privates but I had the pleasure to watch the wonderful Sophie-Jane teaching the beautiful Astrid in Sophie’s Bespoke Classical Training Programme.
Sophie-Jane invited parents and teachers along to watch their student’s class after a term’s work, and my gosh, it was great to see Astrid really excelling!
Sophie-Jane’s teaching ethos is that each individual has the physical and emotional capacity to develop sound and well-rounded ballet technique. With a real understanding of the body and refreshing ways of delivering her classes, Sophie-Jane can enhance her student’s technique and performance skills. She believes that the key to getting the best out of dancers is finding harmony and balance within the mind and body.
At Dance Central, we actively encourage our pupils to extend their training with Associate programmes. This helps them learn from new teachers and become more rounded-performers.
