Team DC soared at Leicester Spring Festival, showcasing their talent across a full week of fierce competition. From our tiniest baby dancers to our seasoned seniors, every member of our team competed across a multitude of dance genres, leaving an indelible mark on the stage.
Amidst the whirlwind of performances, we were fortunate to clinch numerous medals. While these accolades are undeniably gratifying, our focus remains steadfast on the progress and growth of our dancers. And in this regard, we were not disappointed. In sections brimming with up to 30 competitors, our dancers truly stepped up to the challenge, a testament to their hard work.
Notably, two of our Junior dancers, Yeka and David, secured coveted places in the Championships at the festival’s conclusion. Yeka’s captivating performance in Junior Ballet and David’s dynamic display in Junior Modern and Tap left us so proud.
As the week drew to a close, our triumphs continued. Florence was honoured with the Pre-Junior Trophy. Additionally, David was awarded the Boys Trophy.
